During a difficult time, Dr. Leah Gray from Riveredge Pet Medical Center traveled to Salem to assist us with our pony bella during an emergency on Mother’s Day, May 10th. Unfortunately, due to a devastating accident, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put bella down. Dr. Gray and her team were incredibly compassionate and guided us through every step of the process with care.

Today, I received a condolence letter from the entire office expressing their sympathy. This gesture truly reflects the kindness and humanity of their team — it was unexpected and deeply appreciated. Thank you so much, Dr. Leah Gray. We will continue to trust you for all our equine veterinary needs.

My dog had an emergency situation after hours. Every other emergency vet clinic in the area gave me a 4-6 hour wait time while River’s Edge Pet Medical Center was able to see my dog in less than an hour. They did a great job and I would definitely recommend it!

Dr. Leah Gray has been seeing my horse for about 3 years. We first met her for a medical emergency when my horse was colicing. She was kind and caring, knowing that my horse and I were both under stress. Dr. Gray is thorough in her examinations, and good at explaining results/treatment options. Her staff are all warm and caring as well.
