About Us

Drs. David and Leah Gray are glad to be back in their hometown and to welcome you to River’s Edge Pet Medical Center. We are located in the North Albany Plaza right off of Hwy 20. Our facility is a full-service veterinary hospital for small animals and horses. Our goal is to provide a lifetime of quality healthcare for your best friend and family pet.

It is our attention to detail both from a technical view and from the human-animal-bond point of view that allows us to reach our personal and professional goals.

We honor free exams for local humane societies, including Safe Haven, Heartland, and Willamette. We also provide services and donate to local humane societies and other non-profit organizations, such as Chintimini Wildlife Center and Community Veterinary Clinic in Eugene, OR for homeless pets.

History

After three years in California, the Grays, along with their menagerie of dogs, cats, and horses, moved to Coeur d’Alene, ID, where they started their own veterinary practices, Prairie Equine Hospital and North Idaho Pet Emergency. The Grays’ two children, Mason (10) and Madison (7), were born in North Idaho. After being away from home for about ten years, they felt it was time to move back to the Willamette Valley and be closer to family and friends. The Grays have been happily married since 1996.

River’s Edge Pet Medical Center is a full-service veterinary hospital devoted to the healthcare of your pet. Veterinary medicine is not far behind human medicine with advances in diagnostic imaging, surgical procedures, and medical treatments. Our extensive veterinary experience in small animal emergency medicine and surgery will provide your pet with life-saving alternatives that may not have been available just a decade ago. Dr. Leah Gray is board-certified in equine internal medicine and can provide expertise in that area.

Our goal is to keep your pet healthy. Contact us today with your questions. We look forward to serving you!
